So I’m not sure how many of you know this but EpicReads (a fantastic website by HarperCollins alllllllllll about YA) recently started a reading decathlon for 10 books (or sort-of books) in 10 days. There are three levels: Reading For Gold (10 books), Reading for Silver (5 books & 5 graphic novels/comics/short stories/novellas), and Reading For Bronze (10 graphic novels/comics/short stories/novellas). Teeeechnically they started on August 11… but! the goal is to encourage reading so the rules specifically state we can start at any time.
Which is what I’m doing.
I’m a weeeeee bit late posting this, I know, but I started my challenge on Monday. Two days in and, thanks to furniture shopping and schedule making and class choosing and university prepping, zero books done! So I’m definitely behind but don’t worry guys, I totally got this! I will most likely review them as I go but if that doesn’t work out i promise I’ll post them the second I’m done.
Here are the 10 books I’m reading (Reading For Gold, ooooobviously):
In the meantime, click here to see the decathlon details. Join me–we’ll be starting late together! I’d love to hear which level you guys pick and what you’ll be reading, or even what you’re reading in general so let me know in the comments 🙂
On that note, I’m off to read. Exquisite Captive, here I come!
